Freediving Courses (doesn't include trips and retreats)

Cancellation by the Participant
(a) Where a participant wishes to cancel the trip, all applications for cancellation:

i. Must be made in writing;
ii. Are given a full refund of the course cost when cancelling at least 30 days out from the booked course.
iii. Are able to transfer onto a future course, when cancelling at least 14 days out from the booked course. No refunds will be given and the credit will be kept by Lead by Sea Freediving to only be used on another course of its type. No refunds will be given within the 30 period.
iv. A rebooking fee of $100 will be charged within 14 days of the booked course.
v. Are charged at 100% of the course cost when cancelling within 48 hours of the booked course. Extreme circumstances may vary.
vi. If a participant fails to arrive, they are considered a cancellation and no refund will be given.

Cancellation by Lead by Sea Freediving

(a) For safety or other reasonable reasons Lead by Sea Freediving may in its absolute discretion decide to cancel the course or dive sessions on the course.
(b) Where Lead by Sea Freediving cancels the dive sessions/ course:
i. participants may reschedule for a new course date when the weather conditions allow for it at no extra cost.
ii. Participants can receive a full refund (less credit card surcharge).
iii. Refunds must be requested within 7 days of cancellation notice.
iv. Lead by Sea Freediving will not be liable for any claim for additional expenses, travel expenses, out of pocket expenses or accommodation expenses relating to the cancellation.

*Please note that this only applies for local freediving courses and does not apply to any of our Australian and Overseas Trips or Retreats.

Refunds processing
We will notify you once we’ve received your request, and let you know the outcome. If you are receiving a refund, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your refund, please contact us at leadbysea@gmail.com.
